7th and 8th grade science focuses on true understanding of content, not memorization. Although students need background knowledge to succeed in this class, students are assessed on their ability to problem solve by manipulating and applying previously learned material. This class has HIGH expectations. Excuses are not an option...Work is expected to be handed in on the day it is due.

Today in Science
7th grade- Students continue to work on Biomes Project.
Metric System Project due 9/14/09.
8th grade- Students worked physical and chemical properties. Students who didn't finish categorizing properties, need to complete it for HW.
This is Reginal mother Ms. Black, Reginal was involve in a school injury. The outcome his right arm is broken. I called Mrs. Larson this morning regarding to ask all of Reginal's teacher for miss school/ homework assignments. So Reginal can maintain on task with all classes and not fall backward. For any classes missed tuesday September 8, 2009 and Wednesday September 9, 2009. Reginal at this time unable to write with his right hand. We as a family is willing to help him write with left. Reginal will be back to school thursday september 10, 2009. Thanking you in advance.
