7th and 8th grade science focuses on true understanding of content, not memorization. Although students need background knowledge to succeed in this class, students are assessed on their ability to problem solve by manipulating and applying previously learned material. This class has HIGH expectations. Excuses are not an option...Work is expected to be handed in on the day it is due.

Today in Science
7th grade- Finished taking notes on Evolution. Project will be handed out tomorrow during class.
8th grade- worked on Energy packet. Tomorrow is the last work session. Students are encouraged to work at home on their temperature scales in prep for tomorrow's class.
