7th and 8th grade science focuses on true understanding of content, not memorization. Although students need background knowledge to succeed in this class, students are assessed on their ability to problem solve by manipulating and applying previously learned material. This class has HIGH expectations. Excuses are not an option...Work is expected to be handed in on the day it is due.

Today in Science
7th grade-Students worked on their Darwin Project, reading exerpts from his journal and plotting his voyage. Due on Friday. We will continue to work on it tomorrow.
8th grade- Students worked on their energy packet.....Due tomorrow.
