7th and 8th grade science focuses on true understanding of content, not memorization. Although students need background knowledge to succeed in this class, students are assessed on their ability to problem solve by manipulating and applying previously learned material. This class has HIGH expectations. Excuses are not an option...Work is expected to be handed in on the day it is due.

Today in Science
7th grade- Students continued to work on the Darwin Project. We will continue to work on it in class tomorrow. Most student should have already plotted their points.
8th grade- Notes on energy today. Quiz tomorrow. Study your notes and energy packet.
