7th and 8th grade science focuses on true understanding of content, not memorization. Although students need background knowledge to succeed in this class, students are assessed on their ability to problem solve by manipulating and applying previously learned material. This class has HIGH expectations. Excuses are not an option...Work is expected to be handed in on the day it is due.

Today in science
7th grade- Students turned in their Peppered Moth lab from yesterday and reviewed their notes in preparation for a quiz on evolution tomorrow.
Please encourage your child to review their evolution notes.
8th grade- Students did a lab....Bubble Gum Physics in prep for tomorrow's quiz. Encourage your child to study their speed and acceleration formulas.
